Richard Pouille Park

This park was deliberately created in the town center on a site originally planned for a residential area. Covering 16 hectares, it offers a true haven of greenery with lawns open to the public, large trees, and thousands of perennials and seasonal flowers. A stream called "Le Brichambeau" flows through it, originating at the foot of the MJC Lorraine community center and once disappearing into the marshes of "Haut de Quemine." It is home to carp, tench, perch, trout, fry, and turtles, as well as a colony of ducks such as mallards, shovelers, and wood ducks. The park is also classified as an LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) Refuge. Twelve entrances provide access to this typical Vandœuvre promenade. With its walking paths, benches, shelters, play areas, stream, skateboard park, and dedicated dog park, the park truly lives up to its name.
