Located in the municipalities of Gorcy and Ville-Houdlémont in France and Signeulx and Baranzy (municipality of Musson) in Belgium, the nature reserve, crossed by the Cussigny stream, currently covers an area of approximately 40 hectares. It is a haven of peace for fauna and flora. This marshland once provided fodder thanks to the proper functioning of an ancestral irrigation system. There are several types of habitats on the site that attract many species of birds. To see: the marsh, the hay meadows, the woodlands, the disused railway line (perfect for observing the site) and the explanatory panels. Tables and benches have been set up, as well as a cycle and pedestrian path (on the old railway line, a vestige of the steelmaking era).
