Do you know hemp? In Lucey, it was grown in "chenevières" (hemp beds) to make ropes and household linen. After harvesting, the hemp was immersed in water holes, the roises, to rette (clean the fibers). Once the fibers were removed after grinding, the hemp could dry in the sun to be combed and then processed. Today, there are more than 30 roises to discover in Lucey with a trail decorated with signs. A unique landscape for a bucolic outing. Permanent self-guided tours. Guided tours by the Maison Lorraine de la Polyculture, on request (min. 12 people)
