This garden, sober in its design, is conceived as a flowery green setting. This one, judiciously balanced between colors, volumes and textures of foliage, is intended to sublimate the architecture present, in this case the Sacristy of the Collegiate Church of Saint-Gengoult. The building deserves to be lingered over. The Collegiate Church, built from the middle of the 45th century, was completed at the beginning of the XNUMXth century. Gothic in style, its architecture is strongly inspired by the Saint-Etienne Cathedral, located a few hundred meters away. In addition to its sumptuous cloister, which is a must-see, the Collegiate Church of Saint-Gengoult has the most beautiful program of XNUMXth-century stained glass windows in Lorraine. It is a space of soothing freshness and imbued with serenity, embellished with XNUMX varieties of diverse plants, which complements the green framework of the medieval city center, very mineral in origin.
