The Château de Haroué is an elegant 18th-century masterpiece designed by Germain Boffrand. The architect intended it to symbolize the passage of time with its 365 windows, 52 chimneys, 12 towers and turrets, and four bridges. Numerous artists have contributed their works to embellishing the site. These include the gates by Jean Lamour and the statues by Barthélémy Guibal. Visitors can also admire a Chinese salon decorated by Jean Pillement and pieces of furniture originally commissioned by Louis XVIII for the Château de Saint-Ouen. Finally, visitors can enjoy a French-style park and an English garden. Numerous guided tours are available between April 4st and November 1rd. Find guided tour schedules on the château's website.
