The Grallet-Dupic family distillery is located in the heart of Lorraine, in Rozelieures, a leading spirits producer in France. Situated amidst a 300-hectare agricultural estate of cereals and trees, facing the volcano and in the foothills of the Vosges mountains, the distillery has been producing delicious Mirabelle plum eaux-de-vie, the emblematic fruit of Lorraine, since 1890. At the turn of the 2000s, the idea of creating their own whisky emerged. The distillery masters every stage of Rozelieures whisky production: from the earth to the glass. Today, Rozelieures is one of the world's leading whisky brands that owns and controls 100% of its production. From cereals, malting, brewing, distillation, and aging, everything is done in-house—including energy autonomy—in a rare and unique model of vertical integration. Having won numerous awards, most recently in 2021 with the Gold Medal at the World Spirits Competition, the distillery now permanently showcases five whiskies. A film about the production and distillation of Lorraine's first whisky is also available. Inside the distillery, you'll experience a magnificent sound and light show: a whirlwind of sensations!
