The Cerfav gallery | workshop (European Center for Research and Training in Glass Arts) is located 40 minutes from Nancy, in the Meine Forest, south of Toul. Wander freely and for free through its spaces and discover: The hot workshop: Come and watch our young glassblowers at work, ready to answer your questions during demonstrations. By reservation, test the glass yourself, its malleability, and blow your creation! This unique experience, alongside a glassblower, allows you to understand the creative process and leave with a unique piece (within 48 hours). The shop: All glassmaking techniques are illustrated. You'll find functional objects as well as works of art, the opportunity to find a lasting souvenir, for yourself or as a gift, and for all budgets! Discover the creations of the "Vannes-le-Châtel" brand, as well as objects made by our former students, contemporary glass artisans, or even works, collaborations with artists and designers of national and even international renown. The exhibition rooms: Mixing permanent and temporary exhibitions, there is something for everyone! History and heritage lovers, the permanent tour allows you to understand the glassmaking past of the region, and how this lost know-how was able to prosper and transform itself until today.
