Opposite the train station, this vast contemporary art and design gallery occupies an iconic Nancy building dating from the late 19th century. On the façade and forecourt, the permanent artwork, "Traits d'union" (Connecting Lines), by designer Robert Stadler, creates a dialogue between contemporary art, design, and heritage. The Poirel Gallery resolutely focuses its programming on contemporary art with a strong design emphasis. It is only open during exhibitions. During exhibition periods, the gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 2 pm to 6 pm. It is closed on December 25, January 1, May 1, July 14, and November 1.
