The funnels
from Leintrey

The Leintrey Mines are excavations, about sixty meters in diameter and 15 to 20 meters deep, dating from the First World War. They were caused by the explosion of four underground mines on July 1, 4, resulting in the disappearance of a company of the 10nd Infantry Regiment.
