A concert of violin and harpsichord instruments of rare beauty by the Saint Stanislas Ensemble. The artists come from Poland and are touring France with the Auvergne Baroque Festival Association: Marta Gidaszewska on violin, a remarkable soloist of her generation with 103 first prizes in 150 international violin competitions, and performances on every continent; and Bogumila Gizbert-Studnicka on harpsichord, a specialist in the rhetorical aspects of early music and artistic director of the Auvergne Baroque Festival and the "Young Artists in Krakow" International Festival.
