from the fort of the old canton
Guided tours of the fort and turret, including firing demonstrations of the 75mm cannons, are led by volunteers from the association, with humor and good cheer. Come immerse yourself in the world of the French soldiers of the Great War and delve into the history of Lorraine since 1870. Meet at 14 pm at the barrier at the entrance to the forest: follow the signs for "Fort du Vieux Canton" at the village entrance, then the yellow signs.
