Glass Spirit

For the European Artistic Crafts Days, the Esprit Verre workshop opens its doors in Avrainville. Glass artist Isabelle Petegnief invites the public to discover lampworked glass through demonstrations and discussions about her craft. Glass jewelry, flame-shaped beads, and creations inspired by Lorraine's heritage—mirabelle plums, thistles, or bergamots—take shape before visitors' eyes. Throughout the weekend, lampwork demonstrations will be offered, and children and adults alike can try their hand at glassblowing by creating a glass ball, guided by the artisan. An immersion into the world of glass, between molten material and contemporary creation, for a moment of sharing around a passionate craft.
