Coming from a family of carpenters for 3 generations, Michel Donnot has been drawn to the woodworking profession since a very young age. Holder of a CAP in Carpentry and Wood Sculptor, he completed his technical training with a Diploma of Studies and Applications in Interior Design at the École des Beaux-Arts de Nancy, now ENSA Nancy. Since 1985, Michel Donnot has taken over the family business and manages the complete chain at his workshop, from the purchase and cutting of hardwood and fruit logs to the manufacture of various wooden objects. All creations are unique; therefore, the implementation is done in adaptation to the specific needs and desires of each client, offering them innovative and clever solutions. After the design phase and the development of technical and artistic drawings, and the validation of the project by the client, the cabinetmaker also takes charge of the production part of the furniture, cupboards, fitted kitchens, staircases, other household equipment, small decorative objects, etc. In addition, Mr. Donnot has been working for several years at the Musée de l'École de Nancy for the production of specific objects for temporary exhibitions and for the animation of educational workshops for adults and children.
