Bow string bridge

Built in 1951, at the same time as the Ban la Dame site where the Pompey steelworks' wire train was installed, the Bow String Bridge connected the two banks of the factory. Equipped with rails, it allowed semi-finished products leaving the factory's rolling mills to reach the wire train and the southern rolling mill trains located on the other side of the Moselle.
