The gîte
from the priest's wood
The Gîte du Bois le Prêtre is located on the Camino de Santiago, the GR5 and the "Nancy-Metz à la marche" (walking route), in the Lorraine Regional Natural Park. The Gîte is located in a small village with a bakery; the "Café de la Moselle", a bar-tabac offering food only at lunchtime from Monday to Saturday, a City-Stade, a children's playground and a football pitch at the top of the village on the edge of the forest. The gîte is completely renovated and is intended to accommodate travelers only (it is not suitable for company employees). It can accommodate a maximum of 4 people (it is not suitable for accommodating 4 adults over several days). It includes a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area with TV (CANAL+), a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet and two bedrooms available on request. A small free, open-air parking lot is located in front of the gîte entrance. There is no cleaning fee: guests are expected to leave the cottage tidy and clean (including the bathroom and kitchen area) as stated in the rules. If this is not possible, a cleaning service can be requested and paid for on-site (€20).
