Nancyphonies 2026
- Happy Days - Quintet The Drunken Boat

For over 30 years, the Nancyphonies Festival has been showcasing classical music in the Grand Est region of France in a friendly and accessible atmosphere. Each edition features a rich program of concerts and public masterclasses, bringing together promising young talents and internationally renowned artists to offer audiences exceptional musical experiences. SÉRÉNA MANGANAS, violin; VALENTIN CHIAPELLO, viola; KEVIN BOURDAT, cello; SAMUEL CASALE, flute; JEAN-BAPTISTE HAYE, harp. Le Bateau Ivre is an instrumental quintet that combines flute and harp with a string trio. This blend of timbres gives the ensemble a rich sound and allows it to achieve extremely varied colors and atmospheres. The adventure began in September 2015 in Strasbourg, an island in the heart of Europe, where the paths of five young musicians crossed. They came together around a work that would become the core of their ensemble: the quintet by Jean Cras. Gabriel PIERNÉ Free Variations and Finale, Op. 51; Marcel TOURNIER Suite, Op. 34 - Evening - Dance - Song - Celebration; Joseph JONGEN Concert for Five, Op. 71 - Decided - Calm - Very Decided; Jean ABSIL Concert for Five, Op. 38 - Introduction and Allegro - Andante con moto - Allegro
