Guided tours
from the iron mine

A lively 2-hour tour of the Hussigny-Godbrange iron mine: a descent by train followed by a van ride, a demonstration of mining equipment operation including blasting (loading, bolting, etc.). Experience the rhythm of the mine (darkness, noise, dust) as the machinery operates just a few meters away. Bring warm clothing and walking shoes. Helmet and miner's lamp provided. Minimum age 5 years. Registration required. Prices: €12/adult and €8 for children aged 5 to 12. Special events: Barbecue (3 meats, €25 per person) - Saint Barbara's Day meal, Saturday, December 5th at noon, reservation required. Guided tours for groups by appointment. Tours are currently suspended until August 31st for technical reasons.
