A major center of the Renaissance and Classicism, the Historic Site of Cons-la-Grandville is a treasure trove of Lorraine's architectural heritage. The castle, priory complex, blast furnace, park, and former gardens form a major monumental and plant-filled ensemble in the heart of the Greater Region, witnessing a family continuity of more than nine centuries. Still visible today are the castle's main courtyard, the monastic courtyard, and the priory's terraced gardens, and especially the 19th-century romantic park adorned with rare species. It constitutes a haven of peace nestled in a loop of the river. Visits for individuals on the occasion of the Rendez-vous aux Jardins, Sunday, June 8 from 15 p.m. to 18 p.m., and the European Heritage Days, Sunday, September 21 from 15 p.m. to 18 p.m. (free access) - Groups by appointment (price on request).
