Bois-le-Prêtre is one of the important sites of the 1914-1918 Historical Ensemble of the Saint-Mihiel Salient. Tourism and Leisure at Père Hilarion, in addition to its restoration and maintenance activities of the forester's house, ensures whenever possible a presence and a welcome for tourists and walkers of Bois-le-Prêtre. Each year, the association organizes days of meetings and discoveries in order to raise public awareness of the knowledge and preservation of the historical and tourist realities of the site. The Bois-le-Prêtre forest massif is located on the heights of the Moselle coast, northwest of the Mussipontaine agglomeration. It is marked to the south by the villages of Maidières, Montauville and Fey-en-Haye to the west. To the north are the villages of Vilcey-sur-Trey and Villers-sous-Prény, which are crossed by the small Trey stream, and on the northeastern heights, the village of Norroy, perched on the hillside. Visits to the House are by appointment only.
