The Crown Prince's Shelter

In Emberménil, along a remarkable hiking trail, discover the "command bunker of the Crown Prince of Bavaria" during the First World War. With a rare finish for a wartime structure, it was reserved for senior officers of the German Army. From the winter of 1914, the front moved into this eastern part of the Parroy Forest, where many of the developments carried out by both belligerents are still visible today.
