Military cemetery
French from Gerbéviller

The Gerbéviller military cemetery, created in 1920 at the same time as the neighboring German cemetery, contains 2 graves of French soldiers. A majority of these men, who fell on the surrounding battlefields between 164 and 1914, died during the "Battle of Lorraine" which took place from mid-August to September 1918. A central ossuary overlooks the necropolis, offering a view of the surrounding wooded countryside, making the soldiers' rest peaceful. Freely accessible, every day of the year.
