It was the Nancy architect Jean Bourgon (1895-1959), a follower of the Modern Movement, who designed it in 1952-54. The very simple plan (narthex, nave, choir) is highlighted by different volumes. The large bell tower, decorated with a very large white cross, surmounts the entrance. The roof of the nave, in 3 compartments, rises gradually towards the parallelepiped choir. The latter has four bays on each side wall and is more lit than the nave, whose more widely spaced windows are hidden inside by concrete screens.
