Located on the Place du Souvenir on the banks of the Moselle, it was the first war memorial in Meurthe-et-Moselle, erected in memory of the civilian and military victims during the First and Second World Wars. It was financed by subscription from the inhabitants, inaugurated on October 9, 1919 in the presence of Louis Marin and erected by the Etienne establishments, marble workers in Marbache. In 2009, two plaques were affixed there, one in memory of the soldiers who died during the colonial wars and another recalling the memory of the volunteers from Millery who left to defend "La Patrie en Danger" in 2 and 1793.
