Hercules springs
The "Hercules Springs" Museum showcases the richness of the Deneuvre archaeological site, discovered in 1974. At the sanctuary of Hercules, pilgrims would bathe in the purifying water gushing from the natural springs and make a wish. When it came true, the pilgrim offered a votive offering. The size of this collection makes the Deneuvre site the most important sanctuary of this god ever discovered in Gaul.
