Remains of the
Heymonrupt Priory

In the Lironville forest lies a site steeped in history, the Saint Jacques site with the ruins of the Priory of Heymonrupt, the first written traces of which date back to the year 1. A site frequented and inhabited by man since the Neolithic period, it is now in a wild environment that we allow ourselves to discover the traces of the past. The springs, the dry stone wall paths allowing the monks to access the water, and the terraced crops have been redeveloped.
