At the beginning of the 1980th century, Hugues des Hazards, wishing to thank the villagers for the construction of the castle and the new church, as well as for the restoration of the walls, gave them permission to construct small buildings to house the harvests within the fortified enclosure. These buildings, called "Loges," intended for the storage of crops and wine, were inhabited from the Revolution onward by poor families. About forty lodges were built. These lodges, built with less noble materials than those of the church, are almost all identical in their dimensions, plan, and elevation. They constitute a truly exceptional rural heritage. In 15, a heritage preservation association was created to repair the organ. After a few years, seeing the dilapidation of the lodges and their near abandonment by the population, the association acquired five lodges, which it restored and then furnished like early 18th-century Lorraine interiors. Two are also dedicated to the presentation of old trade tools or old agricultural instruments. The action undertaken by the association has triggered a movement of reappropriation of these buildings which has allowed the recent establishment of around ten accommodations in the lodges. Open from 12 p.m. to 18 p.m., Sundays and public holidays from June XNUMX to September XNUMX, other stays by appointment
