This garden was created in the 1910s at the initiative of the Saintignon & Co. company, near the former Recollects convent, on land belonging to them. It features a plane tree-lined avenue, a pond, a fountain, bridges and footbridges over the canalized Chiers River, and a rotunda built over the well. It is also the site where the Recollects Spring was discovered, which sparked the thermal spa industry in Longwy before the First World War. Redesigned in 1927 according to plans by the city architect Pierre Dupuis, the park is now a public garden.
